Episode 52 - Heart-throbbing! Exciting! The Jewel Auditions Are Starting! is the 52nd and 1st episode of the second season of the Kiratto Pri☆Chan anime. It aired in Japan on TV Tokyo on April 07th, 2019.

Summary

Taking place during spring break before the new school year, Mirai completed her new song and went to Prism Stone, where Emo and Rinka were waiting for her. However, the popularity of Dear Crown, the trendy Pri☆Chan shop that opened next door, has left Prism Stone completely devoid of people. Following Meganee's instructions, Kiratts take a peek into Dear Crown to find the super popular idols, Maria Kanamori and Suzu Kurokawa, as well as the virtual idol, Daia...

Plot

It's the start of a new day, and Mirai is shown to be intensely focusing on finishing her new song. Her mother walks in just as she finishes it, and as she celebrates, she gives Hikari a big hug for helping her work on it. Realizing that she's late for her meeting, she rushes out the house. As she's going, she gives a mini overview of her group's channel, Miracle☆Kiratts, and she notices a girl with a KiracCHU charm walking by. Feeling glad that someone likes KiracCHU, she continues on with her day with an optimistic attitude.

Mirai makes it to Prism Stone and shows her new song to Emo and Rinka, with the two being impressed with her work. The two dream about making their own songs as well, and Mirai reassures them that they definitely can. Meganee comes into the scene with a glare and starts panicking over how there aren't any customers at Prism Stone. She puts the fault at the new store next door called Dear Crown. Getting progressively angrier at Kiratts' talk of Dear Crown, she lets out a great yell and declares that this is an act of war. In order to find out what's going on at Dear Crown, Meganee decides to send them as spies. They enter the store to be greeted by a group of men wearing red uniforms, and then they check out the clothing, makeup, and studio that the place has.

Finally, they enter the Dear Crown Cafe only to find Yuzuru eating dessert. Rinka asks why he is there, and after he responds, they hear someone calling for someone else. Noticing Miracle☆Kiratts, the girl, Maria, excitedly calls them cute after being filled with joy from meeting them. She then calls Emo's twin tails, Mirai's cheeks, and Rinka's glasses cute. While trying to admire Mirai's KiracCHU button badge, Rinka asks if she was looking for someone.

Getting back to the subject at hand, Emo offers their help to help her find her friend Suzu, but just as Yuzuru gets up from the table, the stack of plates next to him becomes unbalanced. Before the plates had the chance to hit the floor, a girl swoops in and catches all the falling plates. Unbeknownst to everyone else but Maria, the girl is revealed to be Suzu, the friend she was looking for. Suzu takes off her hat and points out that Maria wasn't at the right meeting place. The two take their leave as Maria gives Kiratts a thanks as they walk away. Rinka realizes something but before she can say anything, the lights go out.A spotlight opens on the Dear Crown stage, revealing two idols to be Maria and Suzu. After they give their introductions, Rinka finally remembers what she was going to say, explaining to them that Maria and Suzu are well-known PriChan idols. Suddenly, the spotlight opens on the trio and Maria declares her rivalry towards Kiratts, with Emo accepting the challenge. Maria mentions an audition, leaving the group confused.

A bell starts to ring and everyone is transported to the center of Kirajuku. Wondering what all the commotion was, Meganee cuts through the crowd to find Yuzuru eating cotton candy. On the holographic screen that popped up in front of them, a person called Daia appears with a friendly greeting and flies out of the screen right above the crowd. Filled with excitement, she announces that the Jewel Auditions are starting, and explains that the Jewel Auditions are for a fashion show called the Jewel Collection, which was organized by Designers Ten. The auditions are meant for selecting ten jewel idols for the purpose of participating in the Jewel Collection. She goes on further to explain that they must perform in order to get a Jewel Coord, an outfit that qualifies a person to become a Jewel Idol, and that the brightest of the jewel idols will receive the Diamond Coord. After hearing the news, Mirai realized what her new dream is, proclaiming that she wants to shine more brilliantly than ever before by becoming the Diamond Idol. Rallying her teammates in, the three all become stoked for the challenges that await them. After listening to their conversation, Maria and Suzu proclaim their goals of wanting to become the Diamond Idol too as the crowd goes wild. As a present to all of those who want to participate, Daia gives all of them a Jewel Pact and Kiratto Jewel, allowing anyone to become a Jewel Idol. To celebrate the opening of the Jewel Auditions, Daia chooses Mirai to perform after noticing her KiracCHU button badge. Her Kiratto Jewel begins to glow a brilliant pink color and Daia congratulates her on being picked, and so Mirai performs her new song, TOKIMEKI Heart・Jewel♪.

Everyone applauds her for her wonderful performance, and soon after, they all come running towards her to exchange follow tickets as Maria and Suzu look at her in awe. The two leave the area after Maria asks Suzu about Mirai's performance. Holding her Jewel Pact to her heart, Mirai turns around and Kiratts raise their arms in the air to show their determination to become Jewel Idols.
