Laala (らぁら Raara) is a character that appears in season 3. She is a parallel version of Laala Manaka, the main protagonist of the PriPara series. Unlike her counterpart, this version is a mascot, specifically Yui Gekikawa's mascot. Her catchphrase in her petite mascot form is "Kashikuma" (かしくま) or "Kumapisce", which is a pun for "Kashikoma" and "Kuma", but in her idol mascot form, she retains her original catchphrase "Kashikoma" (かしこまっ) or "Capisce". Her sentence-ender is "kuma" (くま).
Appearance[]
Laala has Kuma's appearance and seems to maintain most, if not all of his features from PriPara, maintaining his signature pink fur and purple bowtie with a yellow heart. The two yellow hearts on his ears are also transferred over. She also kept his yellow wings, and was seen using them in one of the scenes.
In her pretty mascot form, her appearance matches Laala Manaka's normal appearance outside of PriPara, wearing her Paprika Private Academy uniform. Her idol mascot form matches her PriPara appearance, and she wears the Paparajuku Cool Color Coord, which is a recolor of Laala Manaka's Idol Time PriPara casual coord, the Paparajuku Lovely Color Coord.
Personality[]
Her personality remains generally the same as her PriPara counterpart.
Relationships[]
Yui Gekikawa[]
She is Yui's mascot. In episode 145, Laala is shown to greatly care about Yui, going as far as to hide the unkind comments made about the Rice area's rice and also encouraging Yui to not give up. Though she believed it would only bring sadness and a lack of motivation to Yui, she came to realize that hiding it will stunt Yui's growth.
Etymology[]
Laala (らぁら) - The La in her name is based on the sixth note of the Solfège scale, which follows the name theme of the season one main characters of PriPara.
Significant Coords[]
- Paparajuku Cool Color Coord - Her casual coord in her Idol Mascot form.
