Luluna (ルルナ, Ruruna) is the main antagonist of the third season of Kiratto Pri☆Chan. She is Eve's mascot. Like a secretary, she's always there to support Eve. She is also a "Mascot of High Position" (マスコットの偉い人), as she manages mascot-related things pertaining to Pri☆Chan Land. She is a celeb-type idol whose preferred brand is Little Princess Egg.

Luluna's true intention was to create a world where mascots dominate and control everything by allowing for Pri☆Chan Land to spread around the world to ensure a brighter future for the world.

Appearance

Luluna is a dark grey cat with a white diamond on each ear and gold eyes with thick indigo lashes. On her tail is a gold ring, and she wears a white shawl with a dark blue bow that has a gold crescent pinned to the center.

In her idol mascot form, her eyes remain the same and she gains long and thick, wavy hair mostly worn loose. At the back of her head, her hair is tied to resemble a ribbon while also resembling cat ears from a frontal perspective. Her bangs are evenly spread to the sides with a loose strand at the center and a tented layer above them that is pulled towards the back. On the left she wears clips composed of a gold crescent and two small diamonds.

In her pretty mascot form, much of her appearance remains the same from her idol mascot form with the only differences being her size and less detailed clothing.

Personality

She is a serious person who prioritizes her work and duties. She speaks with politeness and formalities, showing her respect for other people. Despite her seemly calm attitude, she has been shown to get angered when certain characters are involved and is willing to result to violence and drastic measures when she finds it necessary.

Luluna can be seen as a bit of a perfectionist and idealist, as she firmly believed that a world with failures and mistakes won't lead to a happy future and that a world controlled be mascots are necessary for achieving that brighter future. In episode 150, she decided to take it upon herself to created a new Pri☆Chan where everything is dictated by strict rules, regulations, and schedules. In episode 151 after seeing the strong bond between Miracle☆Kiratts and their mascot, her mindset changes, and she comes to realize what kind of bond a person and their mascot should have.

Relationships

Eve Kagayaki

Luluna is Eve's mascot, but she also doubles as her secretary, helping Eve with her daily work duties as shown with their interactions with Meltic StAr. She typically does most of the talking for Eve. Luluna appears to be strictly against Eve doing PriChan, claiming that as the president of a corporation, Eve doesn't have the time to indulge herself in such activities. Moreover, she's sometimes seen with a look of worry or concern whenever Eve thinks about becoming a PriChan idol. She is also very protective of Eve and deeply cares for her, which is likely due to being with her since Eve was a baby. According to Eve, she studied under Luluna's tutelage, so she was not able to make friends since she didn't go to school. Despite being Eve's trusted mascot, she keeps secrets from Eve, especially when it comes to Alice and Solulu for unknown reasons. Even though she hides things from Eve, she believes that she's doing this for Eve's future and best interest, however her and Eve's ideas conflict, resulting in Luluna arguing back that if she isn't her mascot, then Eve cannot be a princess nor an idol to which Solulu claims that she will be her mascot instead of her.

In episode 151, Eve and Luluna reconcile after Luluna sees and learns the true bond between people and mascot, but not long after, she left Eve and Alice along with Solulu.

Solulu

At the start, Luluna kept a sharp eye on Alice and Solulu with a somewhat hostile attitude towards them as well. She, along with Eve, appear to have a connection with the two of them, hence the picture shown in episode 128. As Solulu was in the process of regaining her memories, Luluna and Solulu were in an argument. Solulu disagreed with Luluna's motives and refused to cooperate with her, causing anger to rise within her and resulting in a clash between the two. Because Solulu was concerned for Alice, as she was at the edge of a building roof, Solulu was caught off guard, and Luluna successfully attacks Solulu, wiping away her memories. Even after years of separation, Luluna held her grudge against Solulu.

When the Bughole disappeared in Episode 152, Luluna left Alice and Eve alongside her.

Alice Kagayaki

Before wiping Solulu's memories, Luluna was shown to have cared for Alice as she was very distressed seeing a baby Alice fall from a tall building.

Etymology

Luluna (ルルナ) - Part of her name contains the word "Luna" which means "moon" in Latin, while "Lulu" parallels Solulu's name.

• She is the first mascot to be shown in her idol mascot form.
  • She is also the first mascot to be able to transform into her idol mascot form at will rather than from outside help.
• The moon earring that Eve currently owns originally belonged to Luluna.
  • It was later destroyed along with Alice's sun earring after Eve and Alice performed to bring KiracCHU back to her petite mascot form.
