Meganee Akai (赤井めが姉ぇ, Akai Meganee) is one of the supporting characters in Kiratto Pri☆Chan and a staff member at Prism Stone.
Appearance[]
Meganee is a brunette with long hair that reaches her shoulders, with her bangs short-cut and tucked with the rest of her hair. She has bright brown eyes and wears red glasses.
Personality[]
Similar with previous series, Meganee seems to be a cheery, kind, friendly, and helpful to customers and idol newbies. However, she sometimes overreacts when excited or annoyed by others.

Yuzuru Aoba[]
Yuzuru is her fellow assistant at Prism Stone and tends to get chastised by her a lot.
Naru Shiawase[]
Around the earlier parts of season 2, Dear Crown exploded with popularity, leaving Prism Stone in the dust. Due to being the manager of Dear Crown, Meganee saw her as a rival as well as an enemy. On the other hand, Naru was more-so frightened of her but wanted to be friends with her nonetheless. It was revealed that Naru became a manager because of her admiration for Meganee, and the two finally started to get along starting from episode 75.
Etymology[]
Akai (赤井) : Means the color "red".
Megane (めが姉ぇ): means "glasses" in Japanese.
Her name means "Red Glasses" like the ones she wears.
Meganee is a pun combining Megane and Nee (姉), meaning older sister or female older than the speaker.
Trivia[]
- She is so far the only main character that appears throughout the whole Pretty series franchise, after Pretty Rhythm Series and Pripara Series.
- She overall has the more similar look from her Pripara alter ego than the versions from Pretty Rhythm franchise.
- This is the third series where she is outside of Prism World. The first was the last episode of "Aurora Dream", when she watched MARs performing.
- She shares her voice actress with Kaname Amamiya from Pretty Rhythm Aurora Dream, Hye In from Pretty Rhythm Dear My Future, and Tanto from Waccha Primagi!.
